Winter Swimmers at the start of the 1000m
The traditional event at Christmas time ” The memorial of Alfred Nikodem” is the showpiece of Prague and CZ winter swimming, and whilst this newer ”Branicke Ledy” competition recieves far less attention from the media it undoubtebly attracts the best swimmmers who look forward to a nice straight 1km course down the Vltava River and perfect winter conditions.
